The Long Goodbye
Grief & Healing
An old belief holds that grief is only love with nowhere left to go — and that a candle, burned slowly enough, can show it the way. The Long Goodbye was poured with that in mind: sandalwood and frankincense to steady the room, dried rose for what still needs saying. Some keep it lit through the hardest anniversary of the year; some burn it once and pass the rest to someone who needs it more. It was made for whoever taught us that some things are worth missing.

Getting the most from your candle
- ·Trim the wick to 1/4" before every burn.
- ·Let the first burn reach a full, even melt pool across the top — this prevents tunnelling on every burn after.
- ·Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.
- ·Keep away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable.
- ·Stop burning once about 1/2" of wax remains at the base.
- ·Let the candle cool completely before relighting or moving it.
